TomTom debuts new entry-level GPS for Europe |
The Start is TomTom’s newest entry-level car navigation device for the European market. Featuring a smallish 3.5-inch color touch screen and a fixed version of TomTom’s (normally removable) EasyPort mounting system, the Start is aiming to be a low-cost, pocketable device.

Korean company FineDigital shows how GPS Navigation should be, nice 3D navigation
FineDigital(www.fine-drive.com) launches its new stylish navigation device ‘Finedrive Style 3D’ equipped with the company’s ‘Atlan 3D’ map software in Korea market. Some other features of the FineDrive Style 3D include the Atlan 3D navigation software, DMB for digital TV channels, real time traffic updates and latest gas prices.
TomTom Launches AT&T-Connected GPS
TomTom has unveiled the 4.3-inch XL 340S LIVE, a portable navigation device (PND) that includes an AT&T-powered data modem along with the company’s new LIVE services, building on the capabilities of the existing XL 340S. The new unit delivers Local Search from Google, real-time traffic information, a fuel price service, weather reports, and what the company calls QuickGPSfix, which locks onto your current position faster than prior units.
