It’s tough to get a high rank on Greenpeace’s Green Electronics Guide. The organization is tough when it comes to measuring up how companies are doing with recycling, eliminating toxic materials, planning for a device’s end of life and so on.
Sony, Toshiba, Philips and Apple rank next, in that order. And falling at the veeeeeery bottom of the list at a measly 1.4 is Nintendo.

A leaked photo reveals that Nokia has released a new model of its latest N8 handset with 32GB of built-in memory. This effectively doubles the original version’s 16GB of storage space and matches the storage space of the company’s flagship N97 and N900 smartphones.

Nokia’s N8-00, also known as the Nokia N98 and N8, has been accidentally leaked by one of Nokia’s own sites.References to the N8-00 appeared on nds.nokia.com. Although they were displayed as part of an XML file rather than a full press released published in error, the appearance of the Nokia N8-00 on an official Nokia source is telling.

Toshiba anounces Windows Smarthone Toshiba K01 for Japan
Akihabaranews reports that Toshiba has announced the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Toshiba K01 (known as the ISO02) in Japan. There the handset is CDMA but retains the 4.1 inch AMOLED WVGA screen, Snapdragon processor and other specs.
