If you’re less than inspired by Windows 7 then how about a Mac OS X version? That’s not one of Sony’s official options, but insanelymac forum member Asama took it upon himself to throw OS X Snow Leopard onto the VAIO X himself.

Sony Unveils M Series Netbook
Sony has embraced the netbook segment by releasing a £300 model as part of the M-series in the VAIO range, one which had leaked out a couple of weeks ago. The device comes with a 10.1-inch LED backlit display (1024×600), 1GB RAM and a 250GB hard disk drive while powered by an Intel Atom N450 Pineview processor clocked at 1.66Ghz.
