Smartphone users to move away from touchscreens?

Touchscreen interfaces on smartphones are less popular than they seem, according to new research. A survey by Canalys has shown that, of the finger-based touchscreen users questioned across the UK, Germany and France more than 50 per cent would go back to buttons or a stylus on their next phone, rather than sticking with their current touchscreen user interface (UI).
